Oh. My. Gosh. I completely fell off the blog wagon and it left me in the dust, while I desperately tried running after it and kept falling flat on my face. I’ve had a lot to deal with the past few weeks. Most of it being work related, and I’m not going to bore you with the details. Well, I’m back and ready to ramble on about anything and everything. I warn you in the coming months a lot of it will be about dealing with “Christmas Rush” at work. What a perfect time to start this back up and keep it going. (Insert evil laugh) This is going to be a short blog today because I have to get ready for work here in a few minutes. That’s right, the day thing I have to go to until my writing career takes off…And it will. I know that sounds a little cocky and arrogant but if you don’t believe in yourself, then who will. You are your biggest cheerleader, NO ONE ELSE! You have to be excited about what you are doing, or no one else will be either. Then again, not everyone is going to like your enthusiasm. Those people need to keep on moving by. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. Bye Felicia!
Now, onto my writing! That’s right! I can proudly say that I am almost done with writing the first draft. You ask how do I know that I’m almost done? Well, I am eager to hurry up and get to the end, which let’s me know it’s almost done. The storyline is moving smoothly, and my character found out the life she knew has been based on a lie. Not, just a portion of her life, but the whole thing. Could you imagine, realizing your entire life is a lie? I have probably another two chapters to write, then it will be FINISHED! I am pushing to have it done by the end of this month and then, I will start right in on revisions. The first few chapters are going to be combined into one. Yeah, it drags and with that being said…It needs to go! Then, once the revisions are done, I will start in on writing book number two of the series. UGH! I have to think of another title. Well, no time to think about that now. I need to get ready for work.
