Weekend…

Okay this has to be some kind of sick joke or something. Let’s screw with Amber all week, and continue it into the weekend. Well, the joke needs to stop. I’m just saying. The week was stressful, and the weekend even more so. Well, the evening was a little better. We went and celebrated with friends on their taking over ownership of a coffee place. Super excited for them! You have to be excited for family and friends when good things happen for them. If you aren’t excited for them, well you need an attitude adjustment. I had the craziest thing happen to me at work on Friday. I honestly didn’t know how to respond to the situation. Family and friends that are super close to me know, I am pretty good on responding to things. How I respond depends on you and your attitude. Let’s be honest we are all like that from time to time. If you say you aren’t like that, then you are lying to yourself. One of the cashiers at work congratulated me on my book making a best seller list on Amazon.(She didn’t mention the list) I told her thank you, but that my book had already started to fall off. I told her that was okay because I made it. I was actually there. Well, the customer was asking me what was going on and where had I been. I told the customer my book made the list. They looked at me with a condescending smile and proceeded to say…Hmm. The kind that lets you know they don’t believe a word you just said. I was flabbergasted. How rude can you get? I would never do that. Truly speechless. Onto talking about Dancing With A Stranger!

I’m finishing up the first draft of Dancing With A Stranger to the Londyn Carter series. I will start on the first chapter revisions while my editor finishes editing the rest of my book. Most of the first couple chapters are going to be chopped off or completely rewritten to fit the story line better. You have to be willing to chop up your story to make it flow better with the rest of it. Revisions is a hard part of the writing process. Sometimes we have to take our book and rip her apart. If it isn’t relevant to the story, then it needs to go. Chop that Bitch out of there! Well, I need to get back to writing on it. I wanted to let you know I hadn’t fell off the wagon.

From this moment on I’m going to blog every couple of days. I think I will be able to keep up with it better that way. Also, I’m going to be starting my monthly newsletter up soon. If you want to keep up to date on my books and when they will be released or go on sale go to my books page and sign up at the bottom of the page. Have a great rest of your night! Thanks for reading!
