What a week…

I must say this week has been a stressful one. Honestly, I don’t think stressful is a good enough word to describe it. Shit show. Now, that sums it up a lot better. Have you ever had one of those weeks, where you just want to run away screaming…”This is not my life!” If you say no. I know you are LYING! I think we’ve all had a few moments in our lives like that. It ended great though! That is the most important thing. We spent last night with a great friends celebrating our 19-year-old’s birthday. Nothing like pizza, great company, and a few alcoholic beverages to end a crappy week.

The week consisted of me fighting with my daughter’s school to get her schedule changed after they screwed it up. They kept passing blame to one another instead of fixing the problem they created for her. I didn’t care who was to blame, just fix the problem! Mama Bear isn’t a nice person, and I don’t like bringing her out all the time. Sometimes. she must come out and get things done. And, she did exactly that. She got shit done! Mama Bear has been sick and that makes her a little less tolerant of people giving her the run around. In the end everything was changed around to accommodate her hard class. Mama Bear is amazing. I’m just sayin…

Onto writing news…Dancing With A Stranger is almost done being edited. Yay! Which means, I can start revisions soon. I was talking to my editor last night and we were trying to figure out a way to get the books out quicker to readers. I feel like a year is too long between books. I want to cut that down by 3-4 months. I just need to sit down and write like crazy. Writer’s block doesn’t help the situation at all. I started on Dancing With Darkness last month and already started on Chapter four. I want to get another two chapters written before I have to set it aside, while I work on revisions and getting the book ready for publication around April. Then, I will have published two books in a year. I guess that is pretty good. Well, I’m going to go back to writing on chapter four.

Have a great rest of your night! Thanks for reading! See you next week.
