Lying…

We’ve all encountered a few in our lifetime and, more than likely, have lied a time or two. Everyone lies from time to time. It could be to protect ourselves or someone we care about. When caught in a lie, do you own up to it or cover it up with another one?

There are all kinds of liars, the ones that do it occasionally or the ones that lie so much they wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the ass. It’s a fact of life; everyone lies to someone about something trivial or earth-shattering. And if you are reading this now and saying you’ve never lied…Well, you’re lying to yourself at this exact moment. There isn’t a person alive that hasn’t lied. We are human, and therefore we are flawed.

Here’s the next thought…What do you do if you find out someone’s lied? Vow to be mad for all of eternity, be mad for a while, or be mad for a short time and forgive them pretty much right away? I just remembered another one. You say you forgive them, but do you still hold a grudge against them deep down?

Some lies are not meant to be forgiven, which is the consequence of such lies.

What is the purpose of this? We are all human, and we’ve all lied to people in our lives from time to time. Does that make us bad people? No. We are all beautifully flawed.
